I can provide a “superbill” (a detailed receipt) for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, and I’m glad to help guide you through that process if it feels confusing.

Questions to Ask Your Insurance Provider

If you’re planning to use out-of-network benefits, it can be helpful to ask your insurance company the following questions:

Does my plan include mental health benefits?

Do I have coverage for out-of-network psychotherapy services?

What is my out-of-network deductible, and have I met it yet?

Is there a limit to how many sessions are covered each year?

What is the reimbursement rate for CPT code 90837 in my area?
