Psychotherapy

Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, especially when you’ve been trying to manage things on your own. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling stuck or weighed down by anxiety, sadness, or a sense that something in their lives just isn’t working. They are struggling in their careers, having problems in relationships, or finding it hard to adjust to a new stage of life—such as parenthood or college. They may feel lost and unsure of their place in the world. Often, they notice themselves repeating self-defeating patterns or becoming involved in relationships that ultimately feel unsatisfying.

My approach is warm, focused, and collaborative. Through insight, thoughtful exploration, and practical strategies for change, I help clients understand the underlying causes of their struggles, find relief from distressing symptoms, and move beyond long-standing patterns that have kept them feeling limited. Therapy provides a space to feel understood and supported while developing a deeper connection to yourself and a stronger sense of confidence and direction in your life.

In addition to my general psychotherapy practice, I have advanced training in perinatal mental health and offer specialized support for individuals and couples navigating pregnancy, the postpartum period, and the transition to parenthood. This includes adoptive parents and partners, who are equally deserving of care and often overlooked during this time.
